First Spill, the mattress is now stained
We thought we were purchasing a quality product but we were wrong. The 1st time we had a spill, I though "no problem". Boy was a I wrong. When we pulled the mattress protection pad off the bed the backing of the terry was in shreds and it went everywhere. It took a vacuum to clean the mattress and the rugs around the bed. That worse part is that there is a very big stain on a very expensive Sterns and Foster mattress for there was no waterproof backing left on the mattress pad. It was in shreds all over the room. We had no idea that it have come apart. It was fine after I laundered it and put it back on the mattress. Yes, I laundered it correctly according the manufacture's directions.

Warranty is a joke.....
I purchased my first Protect-A-Bed Premium when I bought my new bed. I always put another mattress pad cover over PAPP so I wouldn't have to wash it as much. When I did I used warm water and would hang it to dry, but that didn't stop the waterproof backing from shredding off in large pieces. It only lasted about 4-5yrs, they were happy to replace it without any problems. Now the replacement, which is covered with a down mattress cover and bed over the PAPP has only been washed 2-3 times in 4-5 years and the backing is shredding off in large spots. I was told that since it's already been replaced once that's when my warranty stopped. They don't stand behind the 10year Warranty.

Definitely buy again
We were forced to buy to maintain our mattress warranty. This protector has saved us so many times. We got a Golden Retriever puppy and he had many accidents on our bed. Not a drop went thru to mattress. And now he's 18 months. While we were out to dinner we came home to big surprise. He had a big accident in our bed (found out today has bladder infection). Again not one drop made it to mattress. I'll never be without one of these for our bed ever again. Ours is 4 years old now. Can't say enough about how great it is. Plus it's really comfortable on the bed. Don't even notice it's there really. So glad we had to buy it. Worth every penny and more!!!

Great protection!
I have 3 cats and a husband who brings his water to bed! This is a lifesaver for me. my cats get hair balls sometimes and decide that the best place to hack it up is on my bed. They also like to knock over my husbands glass of water from his side table. This protector makes those messes so much easier to clean and saves my mattress from soaking in all that grossness. I like that it fits snuggly but not so tight that you have to fight it to just put it on the mattress. It is easy to clean and doesn't over heat you. I tend to get hot pretty quickly and have had to throw away mattress protectors because of it. Not with this! Love it!

Great Mattress Pad!
I received this Premium Queen Mattress Protector as a sample and was not aware of the brand before receiving it. This mattress protector is great compared to the others I have used in the past. This Mattress Protector is very comfortable and breathable. My other mattress protectors are not very breathable and are hot when I sleep on them. I found that this one is cool while sleeping on it and not as hot as the others I have tried. I like the fact that it has dust mite protection as well as allergen protection. I would buy this mattress protector if I needed one again and would recommend to anyone looking for a mattress protector.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT
I only bought this product because it was recommended by the retailer where i bought my mattress. It is noisy, hot and IT LEAKS!! It doesn't even fit the mattress very well, causing it to bunch up in the middle. My son had an accident while sleeping in my bed which leaked through the "protect a bed" leaving stains on my new mattress. If I could rate it ZERO STARS, i would. On top of the failed product, the customer service is just as bad. i filed a warranty claim and was sent a replacement and never heard anything more from the company. I made several calls before speaking to someone and was then told"nothing can be done" about the stains on my mattress. Which now leaves me in void of my mattress warranty- should I ever need it.

False advertising and rude customer service!
Wow, the claims this company states about this mattress protector are all well and good until you try to get them to stand behind the warranty! We called to file a claim regarding an accident that happened while someone had the flu. Basically the customer service representative said they would not replace our mattress, however, they would replace the mattress protector. We want the company to replace our mattress and stand behind the outlandish claims they make about their product.
